• Stephen has to work a murder that involves one of Frank’s undercovers, forcing the two of them to work together again. Mutual distrust abounds, and maybe Stephen is convinced that Frank is hiding something or playing him versus Frank’s belief that Stephen’s loyalty is to the squad first and anything and anyone else second and he has to find a way to change that or challenge it. [Cue Interrogation Play!]

• I am all for missing scenes or a rewrite of some of their scenes in The Secret Place. The scenes where Frank tried to intimidate Stephen into backing off of Holly were easily some of my favorite parts of that book. More of that intimidation! And hey, maybe that intimidation evolves into something else or Frank plays a very different strategy and the world's tensest, most threatening and heavily loaded fucked-up hook-up occurs. Additionally, if Frank and Stephen did keep in touch after the events at St. Kilda’s, in whatever capacity, I would love that, too. Maybe Frank becomes Stephen’s bad penny and keeps turning up when he wants to see him least.

• Or, maybe the first time that Frank and Stephen see each other again after St. Kilda’s is due to an Internal Affairs investigation that inevitably pits the both of them against each other. Unreliable narrators! The both of them recounting the same events differently, either to protect themselves or because they genuinely remember it in their own contrasting ways. If you want to play around with loyalty or loyalty kink, having that fidelity rear its head in unexpected ways between them would be absolutely wonderful.

• Stephen has to work Undercover! Devise whatever reason you wish, or even hand-wave it, I won’t mind, but for whatever reason, Stephen is placed in the field and Frank is his handler. Maybe Frank knows he is deliberately placing Stephen in danger and has chosen to make that gamble. How much of the risk does Stephen know? Or if you really want to go wild, I’d gobble up a twisted retelling of The Likeness where Stephen is the undercover that Frank drops in. Frank and Stephen still have their history, but the dead body they find looks exactly like one Stephen Moran. Give me alllllll that push-and-pull of authority and obedience, Stephen both outside his element and falling under the thrall of pretending to be someone he isn't, all the phone check-ins with Frank, Frank both putting him out on a limb and trying to protect him—all of it!

• And speaking of undercover, again, I am all in on whatever morally-fucked shit these two might get up to. Bad Guys Made Them Do It? Of course! Fucking to save cover? Yes! I’d also be big into any sort of voyeuristic/exhibitionist content, like namely while Stephen is in the field he is wired and Frank is listening to everything. Maybe Stephen bites off more than he can chew, or he really steps into it, and in order to save his cover identity he has to sleep with the mark or the suspect or whoever, and Frank listens in to the whole thing. Cue the incredibly tense debrief session between Frank and Stephen after!

• I mentioned it above, but I’m going to mention it here: I am so into loyalty and trust when it comes to these two. I feel like neither would ever vocalize that trust or that loyalty in any strict or obvious terms, but through their actions. How you might want to depict that, use your discretion. Whether it’s by bailing the other out from a shitty or dangerous situation, or it’s going well beyond professional duty or protocol for the other, or it’s via sex (i.e., breathplay or barebacking, for example, or really any act or intimacy that requires more than a modicum of trust), I’d be into any or all.

Fandom-specific DNW: non-con and/or sex involving anyone other than the requested characters

• I’m not sure what it says about me, but my first and immediate thought in prompting this was solely this: Bad Guys Made Them Do It. Whatever the reason for it, maybe sadism runs that much deeper with the dudes holding them and rather than (or rather than just) trying to cover up the crime and dispose of witnesses, they want to be entertained. Go as flimsy with the reasoning and motivation as you want; it's the Bad Guys Made Them Do It trope! I am also totally into it if you really want to lean in and play into the mutual non-con of it all, made all the worse by the fact that neither Reece nor Pat even knows Amber and she doesn’t know them, let alone trusts them and vice versa. If you can, or are willing, to find a way to sublimate the bonkers tension of the film into this sort of scenario, dear writer, I will forever be in your debt.

• And, staying on the topic of the trope-iest of tropes: maybe, when they discover the bunker beneath the green room it's not just heroin they find down there. Instead, they find a cache of some new synthesized designer drug, and of course, they get exposed to it, and OF COURSE (this being Smut 4 Smut after all!), its effects are basically the same as sex pollen. One of my favorite ways for the sex pollen trope to be deployed is for at least one participant to be unaffected and has to try to deal with the situation––namely the other character(s) desperately trying to maintain some semblance of control. However you wish, if you do wish!, to play around with that here, I guarantee I'd love it.

• By requesting Reece as a part of this, I am more or less inviting you to dive headlong into AU territory, or canon-divergent AU territory at least, which is another way of saying: fix-it fic. Reece gets out alive. However damaged and hacked-up that might be, I'd love to read an AU where he lives and it's the three of them who manage to limp out of there and get revenge. Tied to that: all the fucked up recovery sex. And furthermore, if you're into it: wound fingering meets the world's worst wound care.

• Another canon divergent AU of a far less violent breed: for whatever absolutely non-canonically reason, they agree to let the band go––on the condition they take Amber with them. Give me The Ain't Rights hitting the road back east to Arlington with a surly and maybe reforming skinhead and all that might transpire along the way. The forced intimacy of sleeping in the van, shitty punk parties, the weird relationship that evolves among the three of them: I'm here for it.

• I have yet to meet a time loop I do not instantly love, so by all means––time loop! I don't care which of this trio is the one experiencing the loop or if you want to make all three aware, or become aware, or how you work it. Maybe they all have to survive to break the loop. Maybe, much like the murder that sets off the events in canon, there is no reason and just like that green room, they're stuck. I guarantee, any take on this trope, I will absolutely love.

Queen Sister/Brother Who Put Her On The Throne

• Power dynamics and power play! What is the distribution of power here between the siblings? Did the sister manipulate the brother into putting her on the throne? Or was this entirely his idea, content to rule in the shadows, believing she would be little more than a puppet monarch? Or is it mutual? Maybe the brother, for whatever reason (the populace hates him? he's a war criminal? he's believed to be dead?), cannot inherit the throne and the agreement is that she will take the throne and he will guide her hand. But, following her coronation she discovers she has a stronger spine than she realized, her own desires for greater power place them in competition with each other. Any of these dynamics (or, if possible, all of them!) I would adore.

• Generally speaking for this request, I would personally prefer if prior to her ascension to the throne they had never consummated their relationship. Pining? Sure! A deep-seated antagonism that masked darker and more inappropriate feelings they both swallowed down to achieve a common goal? Love it. Sex as a result of the power struggle that develops after she takes the throne and begins to establish her own agenda separate from her brother's and he resents her for it? PLEASE. 

• The classic The Queen Needs An Heir plot! The longstanding sexual tension between brother and sister finally boils over as he, now her closest adviser, brings her prospective husbands. Or, maybe, in addition to potential suitors, he brings her bedmates. Maybe she fucks them, pretending they are her brother, and maybe, eventually, he does not leave the room after he has brought them to her, and instead watches. Or, barring all of this, the Queen is married off, but it is her brother who sires her heirs. He not only put her on the throne, but he intends for only their blood to reign. 

• How does he win the throne for her? Political machinations? Violent coup? If the latter, sign me up for any variation of the sex in the blood of our enemies trope!

• Playing off of the above interview also: THEY DO ANOTHER PROJECT TOGETHER. Maybe it's another sci-fi, maybe it's a romance, maybe a rom-com--whatever it is, I am all in for the bleed between fiction and real as reality informs performance and performance begins to inform reality. 

• Promo tours! On the road and all that travel as they play their role promoting their work. Set it during Ex Machina or any of the Star Wars or all of the above. Or I am all in for fic set during filming of any of the projects they actually have done together.

• I am perpetual sucker, always and forever, for any and all takes on Friends With Benefits But Uh-Oh I'm Way More Attached And Into This Than I Have Any Intention Of Confessing To You (Let Alone To Myself.) However you might want to play with that, I guarantee you, I will be into it.

• I am similarly super into whatever the inciting incident is to get these two hooking up in the first place. Oscar starts rambling in great and graphic detail about sex one night while the two of them are drunk and Domhnall doesn't know what the fuck to do with any of that? Oscar, while fucking around with Domhnall's phone, accidentally stumbles upon a cache of really bad sexts? Nudes? One or the other walks in on the other jacking off? If the spirit moves you, I invite you to go to there, writer!

• Attached to all of the above: their sexual relationship is a series of escalating self-proclaimed non-events. The both of them have promised themselves that nothing is going on here and nothing is going to happen, so if conversations over the phone or by text start to devolve into phone sex or sexting, that's not a big deal. That's nothing. If the next time they see each other they decide to masturbate while seated next to each other, that's not really fucking. That's fine. And so on, and so forth lol. 

 

SUCCESSION (TV 2018)
Kendall Roy/Siobhan "Shiv" Roy

• Season 2 fallout!!! Does Shiv side against him, or do they manage to work through their mutual shit (including betrayal on her end) and team up? If they do team up, how much doubt is there on either side? I'd be all about the two of them embarking on a completely ill-advised sexual relationship as both an exercise of mutual distrust but also in a bizarre bid to even the score between them. Maybe Kendall wants something rough from Shiv, his own form of penance. Or maybe it's Shiv for once, forcing herself to submit because that's the only way she can imagine herself asking forgiveness (without, of course, ever having to say the words out loud.) 

• "I would just ask that you take care of me." There is never not a time that I am not thinking about either a) that specific line and its delivery, or b) that entire scene. Please, by all means, play with that any which way you want. I am deeply into the power dynamics implied in that scene (particularly Shiv's delivery of, "Fucking look at me," and the way that Kendall reluctantly raises his head) and I am also so into the betrayal of it all: in the end, she very much so did not take care of him. Power play! I am never not here for it, least of all between these two!

• This is me giving you carte blanche as I say, get as nasty and as weird, as dark, as you want with them. I think both characters lend themselves to dominance and submission a little too well, and I would be more than curious to see how that might play out between them. I’d also adore any hurt/comfort with these two, where even when there’s comfort to be offered there’s always the shadow of doubt there’s an ulterior motive afoot. In addition, I loved how that incredibly vulnerable and sincere moment quoted above was followed up by business as usual for them—sniping at each other, undermining each other, both jockeying to prove their ideas and their strategies are the right ones. I would love a fic that played with that competitive spirit between them, both how it spurs them on and how it divides them. Underneath that though there is genuine care, and if you were to tangle that more into something toxic and fucked up, I would love that. And as a brief sidebar: when it comes to incest (and when it comes to these two), the guilt, the shame, and the horror (for lack of a better term) is definitely a feature not a bug for me. I’m not interested in it being accepted even by themselves or if others find out where they’re totally cool about it. The secrecy and the fear of others finding out coupled with self-disgust for wanting it? That’s what I’m definitely into, especially for these two.

• Alternate Season 2 where these two were fucking the entire time. My kingdom for it! Did it start after when Shiv comforted him? Tern Haven? All the way back at the Hamptons and Shiv's anger at Kendall took on a distinctly inappropriate and sexual bent? Does she still betray him at the end of the season, and if so, do either of them try to neutralize the other now that they have the worst possible ammunition against them?

• AU-wise, if you want to go super dark (or super Greek tragedy) here: Shiv and Kendall realize that the only way forward is for Logan to die. There is no future for Waystar Royco, no future for them, if they don’t find a way to permanently remove him from power. Do they go through with it? Or do they hem and haw and, much-suited to the canon and its tone, clumsily plot to kill their father? Can they trust each other? Do they go ahead with it only to destroy both each other and themselves as they doubt the other's ability to keep this a secret?
